Well if you are running a 64-bit Linux OS on your Chromebook and are trying to load a 32-bit Renoise you probably will get ‘no such file or directory’ (yes I know it is a bit misleading error message). Possibly try the 64-bit Renoise?
okay I’m going to give that a go. Is it important for me to run the ‘uninstall.sh’ before I go trying that?
Thank you so much for taking the time for trying to help me (considering it’s probably a stupid error on my part), I’m most grateful.
Shall report back.
I probably would. However (without complicating the matter too much), personally I don’t bother ‘installing’ Renoise under Linux…but…anyway you try the 64-bit version.
Awesome. I installed the 64 version of 3.2 and it’s working with sound etc. Just has a strange glitched out interface.
Thanks again for your help in troubleshooting my silly error.
