When I start Renoise in Ubuntu 16.04 I get ALSA Jack whatever errors. Do I need to mess around with this. If I hit “OK” Renoise still works fine.
I use a Midi keyboard on my Windows Renoise setup to control VST. Other than that I don’t use other programs in combination with Renoise.
