The Save Instrument As dialog always seems to default to the home directory, rather than remembering the last directory save to, or using the main instruments directory. This becomes annoying when saving multiple instruments from a downloaded .xrns.
This is a linux related problem and unfortunately I can not promise that we can add support for this in 2.5…
