i have a question…
i have made a pattern with 8 instruments… i want to trigger those instruments with a midi controller and record this performance to the pattern matrix like you can do with ableton live. i have seen grid pie, it works, but i can not record the hole performance? how can i do this with renoise?

I just went up to the cooker and looked if the saucages are cooked and then i had an idea… and it might be the solution for me…
i use grid pie and the i-creativ controller witch works very well together, and i route all the tracks via rewire into another application like ardour or maybe sonar essentials for say multitrack recording or maybe master… so i can also record the live performance and edit ist later on…
lucky i am… i was allready going to buy ableton live and a launchpad… if this works i am very happy with renoise…
