When I load samples into renoise, it is my understanding that they are now copies of the original, and thus edits in the sample editor do not effect the original sample file. If so, where is the new, altered sample stored? Like, say I modify a sample in one song, and then want to use that same modified sample in a different song – how do I find it? I can’t find any way to track the saved location of samples once they are in loaded into the song.
