Lately I tried to coop using the Melda MPowerSynth.
Strangely it uses an executable “MPowerSynth.bin” for Mac OSX. That’s why it doesn’t seem to load songs saved on Windows Renoise using MPowerSynth.
I now suggested to Melda to rename the executable, but Vojtech wrote, that it actually works cross platform for Cubase:http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=138&t=455990&p=6368753#p6368753
So I am asking here, is there a way to improve the compatibility? Instead of saving the actual executable name in the vst.config, maybe it would be better to save the .vst-name and look into Info.plist for actual executable name?
Is there a way to improve cross platform compatibility from Renoise side, so even MPowerSynth will load cross-platform?
Thanks
