Locking Patterns ?

Is it possible to lock a pattern once you are happy with the flow of the song that you have created. You can then concentrate on getting the mix correct without worrying about screwing up the flow.

Just had the situation where I made a mistake and whilst mixing I did must have done a CTRL <- and end up with a repeated section which I did spot until I had sent it off.

I just tested this myself and was a little surprised to see Increase/Decrease Pattern Number shortcuts in both Mixer and Pattern Editor. One solution could be to remove the shortcuts entirely from the Mixer window. Am actually quite tempted to do so myself…
