Today I found this news, regarding new release of String:
and there info about 64bit Linux version…
So I checked Loomer page: http://www.loomer.co.uk/downloads.htm and it looks like that they have already few plugins compiled for 64bit!
Unfortunately, still no Sequent, which I bought and using, but I hope they will make it up soon 
This is great news!
For now I’m using Renoise on dual core Atom system (based on D510MO motherboard). X86-64 really improves performance significantly and Renoise supports now logical processors too. With 64bit mode and 4 threads it can play included Hunz’s song without problems (at no more than 66% processors usage).
So things start to better for Linux finally. In relatively near future there should be more native Linux VST ports too. (just an opinion based on some developers’ remarks)
