here’s another suggestion: how about implementing macro record and replay, and macro saving and triggering, for commands entered into renoise. 
i know scripting is coming, but macro record and save and trigger and replay would enable easy customisation and automation of all sorts of song actions by scripter and non-scripter alike… 
would be a very powerful addition to automation withing renoise too.
