Making Samplebased Instruments

I’m trying to learn more, and have already asked some questions related to this. Thanks again for the answers.
The goal now is making instruments based on one wavelength, like it was done in the BB5 samplepack.
Read the tutorial and did a few searches.

Question is: When splitting the keyboard into octaves, do I really have to click all the keys one sample shall be tied to, or is there some faster way?

There is currently no option in Renoise to assign one sample to multiple keys in one or two click(s).

One external tool that does support your wish is mentioned here:

Thank you, I was just wondering if I was doing it in a stupid manner.
Ah, well, there’s not that many keys.

But I’m not sure which tool you are referring to. Are you suggesting I unpack the xrni with one of the unpacking tools and then use openoffice for making a script to automate this?

If so, I agree. (Well, not in using openoffice for scripting. I use it a lot for writing, though.) But my php-knowledge is a bit weak for that :).

I suppose you meant to link to the other tool that could export to xrni. But I will try to learn more php. Maybe I could make myself useful.

You can always add your support to the Xrns scripting project and create such a tool yourself:
