Making Xrni A Standard Like Vsti

Greetings, ReNoisers :D

I get straight to the point:

1.) If ReNoise could export XRNI to sample-based VSTi, a lot of us could create awesome intruments to “non-ReNoiser” folks.

2.) Or if there was a XRNI receptor VST, the results were almost the same.

3.) XRNIs would need less disk space if samples could be saved in OGG format. I’ve tryed this, and I did not experience any quality losses, just more CPU usage X-D

  1. before you can do this, there should at least be the possibility to put more layers on the same note of XRNI, which is currently not implemented

  2. you can already save samples as OGG files:

where FLAC is shown, select OGG

anyway there is an XRNS-PHP script which can convert the samples to OGG for you.

huh, forgot another thing:

Extreme sample converter supports XRNI, so you could already export XRNI to other formats
