Is there a way to copy a block from a pattern to another in the matrix editor, without a new pattern being automatically created ?
I have two patterns, 0 and 1, and when I want to copy a hihat block from pattern 0 to pattern 1 with ctrl + drag block, my pattern 1 is assigned a new number.
I don’t understand this question completely, what do you mean by “without being generated?”
If you want to copy stuff from pattern 0 to pattern 1 you simply add pattern 1 to the sequence below pattern 0 and then ctrl+drag the blocks from pattern 0 to pattern 1
