I want to buy a new midi controller, the oxygen 25 3rd gen.
I use linux mint 17 64 bit. Will mint support the oxygen usb device?
Some are saying that I have to install midisport-firmware package.
Anyone on linux with an oxygen 25?
The Oxygen series are all supposed to be USB class-compliant now, so drivers shouldn’t be a problem. I can vouch for a second-generation Oxygen25, but I’m running Windows.
Class-compliance will limit CC numbers to 127, though, so you’ll need to remap default transport and track-selection controls to use them.
