May Switch To Renoise But...

Not in the slightest! I always tell people to try the demo of a few of the major (at least styles of) DAW before even considering parting with money as what works for one truly does not work for another! It’s not the same as hand tools, where you should really use the right tool for the job (an adjustable spanner is not a hammer even if you can just about get a nail in with it) but really does come down to personal preference more than anything else!

I used fl for a year or two before i used renoise pretty much exclusively. fl indeed has the best piano roll out of any daw i tried and when i switched to renoise I did miss the comprehensive chord library that fl has in the piano roll, until suva’s scale finder tool came out which pretty much blows fl’s out of the water as it groups all the chords that sound just so perfect together.
also you can always use fl as a vst within renoise so you always have that option mxe.
