I am totally new to renoise and the whole “tracker” system format but not new to music production. I used Ableton as my primary daw and I’m planning to use renoise as my sequencer rewire in to Ableton. My first question is does renoise have a count-in feature? This is a definite deal breaker that will stop me from buying the full version. I find it annoying when I’m using renoise as a standalone and I have to wait for the sequencer to loop around before I can start recording notes. Second question is when I am using renoise as my rewire slave how do I record the midi notes in to ableton??? I don’t even have renoise as a midi input option in my ableton midi track. Thanks in advance for any help!!!
