The reason for 2 is that I don’t really want to master my metronome, having it affect master compressor et c. I know it’s considered bad practice by some to master while you track/record, but anyway …

And the ability to change the two samples used for the metronome sound would be great!
yeah, man, that one metronome sound is so awful, with its harsh mids. you can replace them in the renoise folder, but an option would be really nice.

I’m kind of surprised that this simple feature/setting has not been implemented yet, as it has been requested several times over the last years by different users.
