Yah really… when is feature voting coming back? I want to get my vote on!
As I new user I’d like to add my vote for a metronome volume adjustment option .

Would not harm anyone if you could select a different output for “pre-hear sample” and “metronome” altogether.
Then, this “monitor” output could have a separate volume control or you could simply adjust it on your mixer (if you have one).
Till its a proper config, you can hack it by your own:
In the Renoise resource folder, /Skin is the metronome sample. A simple wave file. You can replace it with whatever you want…
can you make the metronome/prehear be as loud as what renoise sends to my sound interface? psycho-acoustic envelope follow thingy, initialized to “not very loud” for when there was no sound yet
