I’m working on a track with both samples and MIDI in them. I want to do a crossfade from the part with only samples to the part with (mostly) MIDI.

I thought I’d use volume automation for this. The Renoise volume automation works great for the samples part, but it doesn’t work for the MIDI channels. Anyone knows how to do MIDI volume automation in Renoise?

Pick a MIDICC device from the effect list and use automation on the MIDI CC volume parameter. You need a MIDI CC device for each MIDI instrument that you need to automate the volume.
