Midi Cc In Pan Column Doesnt Work

hello!

i am trying to use the “90” effect command in the panning column, and then XXYY (CC/value) in effect column. As far as i can tell, this ONLY works on lines with notes.

So a simple modwheel command:

C-3 … 90 0120 works fine
— … 90 0120 does not work at all, nothing is sent

I know i can use the MIDI CC device but that is VERY much more work and setup

Is this a bug, or by design?

I am using it for a VST plugin (Reaktor 5), on OSX (10.4.2).

You also need to specify an instrument number, which defines where to send the MIDI to.
