Midi Import ..without Loading A New Instance Of Renoise

When oO when will we have the ability to import midi data into an existing renoise project , currently it is not possible .,
I know the workaround , opening a new instance of renoise , importing midi data and copy /paste …but c’mon folks …2011 …lets do it before the world ends :)
This is verry high on my wishlist

Drag and drop onto a track/ cursor pos would be very nice with this.
