I have been having quite a hard time figuring out how to map the pattern sequencer with my Ohm64. What I want to do is be able to instantly launch patterns when I press the key. This can be done buy double left clicking with the mouse, yet I cannot manage to get my midi controller to do it. Any help would be much appreciated as I am very new to midi devices.

After consulting a friend I am now wondering if Hitori Tori doesnt have it so that the pattern sequences trigger instantly but instead they seem to because of how short they are. Does this make sense?
No, it could be instant. You just have to dig into the MIDI MAP list instead of just the interface.

Click “Midi Map”, click the the arrow next to “Available & Active Mappings”, select “Seq. Triggering → Trigger → Sequence XX → Sequence #01”, press a button on your Ohm64, close window and repeat.
You could also try something different, like Duplex or Grid Pie.
