Midi through ...horrible timing ..again

I thought , pretty sure it was fixed in previous versions , when renoise pipes or receives midi data over usb .

The cirklon is sending midi over serial port to my roland integra ,as tight as can get ..because it’s a cirklon ..YUY

On the integra there is an option called “Usb-midi thru” on or off , this basically relays the incoming midi over serial port to the usb port , it then gets into the daw over usb .

So the internal engine of the integra is not triggred directly anymore ( think of it as a local on-off switch on keyboards )

Once the midi inside the daw -renoise over usb , we have the option to reroute the midi back to the integra over usb , or just trigger a renoise instrument - vsti.
In both cases the timing is horrible and inconsistent .

Tried the same in reaper , no such problem .

Ah yeah , reread the old topic and the solution was using the lowest buffer size .
