Mixing multiple samples at once

Hello,
It just occurred to me and here’s a quick idea.
But there has to be a simpler way, unfortunately I can’t think of anything else right now :frowning:
Only 4 samples for now.
4Samples.xrni (1.7 MB)

Usage:
4SamplesPlay.xrns (1.8 MB)

The answer is simple…

But what is the effect of delay after the note has been played (the delay in the void)?

Complex setup on Sample FX…I Didn’t know that we could route Sample FX chains each other

Hello,
So the test went well, I found out that I can place samples as many as I want,
but then it stops being fun :).
4 samples were enough for me and it works. Here is a test with 8 samples.
The samples are placed so that they are like on the edges of the XY pad.
I leave the inside free. Interpolation between samples is done by macro number 3.
I have randomly selected samples so it doesn’t make any sense now.
It’s just for demonstration.

Hydra and Formula is simply an unbeatable combo

PS: Only Formula could have more inputs and outputs

8Samples.xrni (6.3 MB)

12 Samples version.

Blending and interpolation in not the same
You could do realtime interpolation via LUA api if this he can access samples buffers and process them+render to a new buffer in realtime

“Frame interpolation and frame blending in not the same”

Yes, it is blending. Translate error.

Nice this reminds me of a recent video I did on vector synths. Your method is doubtless more elegant!

Thanks,
but I’m a little sad that I can only use 3 input values.
It would still need one for “offset” where the spacing between positions
in the pad would be determined :frowning:

Yeah it would be cool if the formula device had some more flexibility in that regard
