Some nice features, not enough to make me switch though…
I think MPT is better than Skale but thats just my opinion. I made a lot of tracks with MPT some months ago - I really like that tool.
But for know, I am renoised 
I thought Skale had full VST / VSTi support… wich makes Skale 10x better…
I never used Skale but that’s what i heard.
then u’ve been misinformed my friend. Used skale for a year or more myself and there were only a small amount of vst and i’s that actually worked. They had to be small and very non-interface based.
Skale is even better than renoise when it comes to control but aside from that and the lack of updates the last 7 months makes me thing skale is over, however it doesnt matter for me cuz im never going back to any other tracker as long as renoise keeps this professional level, and the devs keeps listening to our requests 
The biggest “PRO” for mpt is its stability and the fact that it runs smooth on 200 MHz-CPUs. (if you do not use VST, though)
What I do not like is the complexity of the editor and I did not like that MPT was so crazy with VST-stuff. But I think this tool is pretty good (even the soundquality is better than in previous versions)
But Renoise has a better Look&Feel
Built in time stretching for samples is a good feature in MPT also.
