I was going to make a VST-less .xrni but I’m having issues with clipping when I render effects. I decided to replace those tracks’ fader levels with just a gainer at the end set at the exact amount, but still clipping hard. So… it ignores track headroom, ok. add the 2 together, set the gainer, render… now it’s way too quiet on playback. So… I don’t know how to get it back to the exact level it was set at before.

…Is track headroom prefx?

Anyways, all samples are freebies, and I tried to limit my VST usage. All the VSTs I did use are free. I used Renoise effects whenever possible. The only VSTs used are to process DI Bass and Guitar, and to compress one of the kicks.

Did you get my xrns? Also if you got the mp3 from the previous clyp.it link, the one from my soundcloud link is slightly different and up to date.

And, eh, my own song is compressed quite heavily on the master - oops. Not used to a deadline :slight_smile:

Hello everyone, i decided to join this competition like 2 days ago, but until yesterday i didn’t have time to make something. But thanks to the Grace Period ( Thanks Danoise ), i made a little something just for the sake of it! Renoise is such a cool daw, i’m still new to it though, but it rocks and the community looks awesome.
