Does anyone know what the judging criteria is for this competition??
It seems to me that there are a lot of fine entries and its probably going to come down to what sort of music the judges are in to.
It’s pretty much how it was supposed to work.
Alright, here’s the list of songs I received. 32 tunes. If I missed any, pipe up now. I will zip 'em and get 'em to the judges in the next few days. Expect results in a few weeks.

I have managed to get a hold of all the judges except one (Pat Tregaskin). I expect the results in a few weeks. Patience is a virtue.

If I remember correctly there were a bunch of fake tuss myspace accounts set-up by watmm members. Wouldn’t be surprised if the one you contacted is also a fake.

Alright, I’m breaking the ice by being the first judge to post my Top 3. My opinion is pretty much worthless outside of the scope of this contest, but there ya go.
32 tunes took a long time to review. My strategy was to make a playlist and listen to every tune, over and over and over and over. I broke my own rules and arbitrarily narrowed it down to a top 5, instead of a top 3.
To be quite honest, I have a top 10 - all of which are tied for 1st place in my mind - but as is the nature of the contest, thems the breaks.
Thank you everyone for submitting. All the songs work well together as some sort of mega compilation. I enjoyed listening to the submissions.
I will post the other judges results as I get them. Expect some more action in the next few days / weeks. Patience is a virtue.

Fun tune, amens all over, feels like an intro or an interlude.
Arboreal - Evariste Galois
I like the melodies, I like the bass that comes in at 1:20, subtle strings for good measure, lush textures, nice beats, well composed.
Bjorn - nesby_-_theme_from_soulback
Epic electro style intro that drops into into some sort of atonal prog with jazz influences. It's all about the textures.
Blac Waldo - Chicken Eggz 2.0
Straight up tune right here. A mixable intro that drops into a wicked bassline which drops into second sine tone sub bassline, then everything ties together like a fluorescent shoelace. Bonus points for this beat. It says "fuck you mutant breaks, please enjoy this over compressed Billy Jean beat instead" and, thusly, manages to be a great break in the context of this competition. Top 5.
Booker - trippin64
Ambient trip, salt and vingar chips. Composition holds together for over 8 minutes which is gets a prop for achievement.

My playlist is in alphabetical order, this tune flows nicely with Trippin64, but chip style chill-out tunes won't make my top list. Wrong contest? :-(
Brian Lutes - breakbeat_drug_d
Bonus points for coldcut style samples / ninja tune in the nineties hip-hop vibe. This old man approves. A stand out for me. Something about the mix doesn't sit well, but otherwise pretty decent.

Classic breakcore sound, which had me asking is breakcore classic now? Had me pointing the finger. Definitely a nutter.

Damn! Fucking ace. Thank you for making dance music. A benchmark that separates experimental from the "i don't know what I'm doing so I'm calling it experimental" from the "screw it, just make a good tune with good breaks".

Alphabetical order is paying off. Two good dance tunes in a row. Love the breaks and the overall vibe, but the mix is kind of overkill. Compression problems or something?

Hmmm, I very much enjoyed this. A bit jagged and rough, but the dub style echo holds it together all the way through.
fracturedmorals - CRAZYFUCKBREAK-House
This early 90's mod style intro with a shitty 8-bit bassline had me cringing at first, but 23 seconds later awesome happened. You somehow managed to mix early PC tracker style with a sensible contemporary glitch sound. Breakcore tempo for good measure. Nice one.

Jonas The Plugexpert - grotesprites (clip on dread mix)
Ragga jungle vocal with 8-bit bassball themed melodies doing counterpoint with an onslaught of beats and basslines, leading to the best drop I have ever heard at 2:00. For me, some asshole in his mid-thirties, this is experimental jungle at it's finest. It says "Hey breakcore, you missed out on 10 years of reference music and are doing it wrong". Top 5.

Literal song title, delivers what it says, although the concept is done tongue and cheek, the tune is well played. Good times!

The king of submit early submit often right here. Glad this is the tune that you finally settled on because it's fantastic and makes my top 5. To be honest, I'm not even sure if this the tune you submitted or not, but fuck it. Top 5.

Are Christian Death and Bahaus still around? Kids today... This track definitely stands out from the rest. It's very unique, but I just can't get behind this style of industrial crooning. The simple lofi punk / new-wave elements I liked about Bela Lugosi's Dead or Theater Of Pain are missing for me. I don't want to be a hater but I have specific expectations for this genre that haven't been fulfilled since Pretty Hate Machine. File under: Grumpy old man.

Very cool. Soft and glitchy, almost smooshy. Nice use of samples. Great overall vibe.

Trumpet and marching band intro? Really? Then a drop into an acid squelching bassline? One of the most bizarre tunes of the contest. Props for the effort.

Electro acoustic styled beats. A lot of tweets. Guttural bass. It's actually very good.
Ulrich Franke - No Street (Drugs @ all)
Bounce and boing. A pretty decent tune that sticks to it's guns, if you can get past the intro.

The most epic soundtrack for a Gatorade or Menen deodorant commercial ever? The intro sets it up, the drop delivers the menace. Wicked.
