i’ve kind of realized by now that this isn’t really the right forum for 80’s cheese, still though, my
new album is out now on itunes, amazon.com and a bunch of other places. get it or don’t!

awesome sound. my congrats 2 u!
Yeah! You really nailed that 80’s sound. Took me back to the happy days of school, being a kid, and days-that-was-filled-with-no-obligations.
Good job! I’m impressed!
thanks, im glad you like it. ![]()
That is Da Awesome!!! ![]()
Do you have any other bunch of places where i don’t have to install any specific tools for it?
Also, can’t download your stuff from Amazon.com:
[b]
Moozone for instance is the same problem.
If you promote stuff on European forums, then also link to the european sales sites…
it’s mainly an itunes release (which is worldwide), the other sites are just available as options, and i didn’t know about that stuff you just posted, my label handles that. kinda shitty though.
Okay, so i guess i should ask your label agent… (strange that they currently still announcing your album as “Coming soon” on their own site).
iTunes is indeed worldwide, but iTunes will never see my pc again since it was capable of destabilizing my windows environment in the past a few times.
I have no idea if it improved since the past few years, but i’m not willing to give this software a fourth chance.
I have downloaded (a single track) from Amazon before. Have you tried searching amazon.co.uk/.de/.blah.blah whatever your country and see if it is listed? Wouldn’t surprise me if only .com can sell downloads to America but hopefully they have licence for their music to sell from their sister sites or something…
Also I too wouldn’t let iTunes within a light year of my computer either!
EG on .co.uk Amazon which I bet I could buy it from (being in the UK.)

the album release has been delayed for about 3 months and the label has been a bit idle for a while, it went up on itunes just last night, so
I guess they haven’t updated the site yet. why is this a concern of yours anyway? i agree about itunes on pc though, it’s shit, though slightly
better than a few years ago. anyway, there’s not much i can do about it at this point.
CONGRATS with the album!
LOVING the cover.
“hollywood heights” sounds killer from the preview ![]()
buying this tomorrow, definitely!
i doubt any of the sites got flac, which kinda sucks really, why the hell not? atleast itunes should have.
Pardon my rantiness in this post…
Truly fucking impressive work. I was absolutely taken aback by how much you captured the period as well as it had good licks, good hooks, and just a very slick production. I don’t know how you did the EQing–I don’t know how you did the overall compression and mastering–but you really did it man. It’s fucking brilliant.
The 80s. People seem to either love it or hate it.
There was a totally different use of drums in the 80s, just totally different types of rhythms that got completely abandoned (granted they were generally 4/4, but that’s the way it was, the way it is now and that’s the way it will probably always be)–especially in the use of the toms. You knew exactly how to bring it back.
Texturing–in the background instruments, especially in the types of arpeggios that were used, there’s a certain type of texturing that was only used in the 80s, and then got sadly abandoned. It’s really great to hear it in something new.
Really.
My favorite, I think, is Hollywood Heights, which I promptly bought.
The only thing that didn’t sound quite 80s was the synth electric guitar in Midnight Mall at around the centerpoint of the song–it had a little bit of digital stretching sound which was not indicative of the 80s (it wasn’t something I heard commonly until the later 90s), but I still really liked it (and bought it)
Action Bike was another favorite.
Great job ![]()
