I composed a music and I added voices with Renoise v2.0. I am French and I would like to know if voices were translated correctly in English please :

“Don’t forget the old games in the years 1980’s !”

( if you’re forgetting in the year 1999, you’re forgeting something in the year 1999, not the year 1999)

i think the incorrect ones are better though 
I would even go so far as to say…
“Don’t forget the old games of the 80’s”, if you want to make it really native sounding.
My reasoning; Games in the 1980’s would have of course been current at their time of release (that is how time works), so they would not have been “old” at the time.
Complex stuff, I am sure you will agree.
You could go for “oldskool games” or maybe “retro games”…
“games of the 80s” has a certain ring to it though.
