Could it be possible the notes get split and the unnecessary columns get deleted?
Also, when there’s a DSP chain in the original track could all splitted tracks send to one send track with that DSP chain? That’d be sweet.

could you update this one to optionally ‘split Into Group’?
to clarify, first split the selected track, into separate tracks, then collect the tracks into a group! Ideally keeping the original automation of the track that got split on the parent channel
