I’ve been saying this for a while. They probably still will haha
@Raul looks great, I need a new license file, thanks!
Hi @Raul , I’m a new member here and would be interested in buying a license.
Thanks in advance for any info.
@SystemST91, welcome to the forums! How are you? I have sent you a PM with all the details. Thank you very much for contacting!
Thanks, it’s definitely been a long process. But we like programming, so the journey is enjoyable (and frustrating at times
)
Currently, the PRS is linked to the User Manual, which is quite cumbersome. I’d have to create a demo version without the User Manual (so that they are less MB). The same goes for my other tools. I like to have everything together. But it would be nice to have access to it from the tool downloads section as well. I’ll study it to adapt…
By the way, congratulations to you too for your great work with your tools. We’re a wonderful community!
Thanks @taktik, all of this has been possible thanks to the new API. I’ll always be grateful to you for including many of the things some of us programmers have requested.
Once the dust settles, I’ll try to create a demo version without the instruction manual to upload to the Renoise tools server.
I think we’ll continue to enjoy memes for a long time…
Thanks to you! Without the continued support of users, this type of program would be impossible to implement.
Exactly, haha. @elcasiino I haven’t forgotten what we have pending. In fact, it’s time to get going! I hope you’re well!
Thanks @swteal88! All users who have supported the PRS project will receive their new license. I just ask for your patience, as it will take me a while to respond to everyone. I’m still finalizing some details of this launch…
No me olvidé tampoco jajaja. Y espero que todo le pase bien a usted. Será gran sorpresa para todos lo que está pendiente ![]()
@Raul thank you! Take your time
@Circe, @Leszek, @elcasiino, @swteal88… Sent! Please check your inbox… Enjoy the PRS!
Piano Roll Studio - Simple Composition
Here are more videos on simple composition with Piano Roll Studio. I’m testing the 7.1 beta, so it’s normal to see some errors while I’m demonstrating unprepared composition. The videos, as always, are in Spanish. Hopefully, this will help Spanish-speaking people get a better understanding of Renoise…

Hello Steve!
Done! Please check your inbox…
Hi, could you please update my license too? Thanks.
Hello Daniel!
Done! Please check your inbox…
Hello,
How it’s possible to update the license? Is this error related to the license?
It repeats when you click OK
Hello Anatol, how are you?
Is that the first error message you’ve seen? Or did you see a different error message before?
Regarding the license, even if you used the old one, it shouldn’t return these types of errors. Did you update the license for the new API 6.2 of Renoise 3.5.x?
Hey Raul,
Yes, it’s the first error message that I saw - I was out of Renoise for some months and just downloaded the new version.
Let me check what are the steps for this.
Thank you!
Ok. Simply update…
-
If you’re using an earlier version of Renoise than 3.5.0, use PRS v6.2.562 (it is the latest version compatible with API 6.1, Renoise 3.4.x).
-
If you’re using Renoise version 3.5.0 or higher, use PRS v7.0.1005 or higher (it is the first version compatible with API 6.2, Renoise 3.5.x).. In this case, be sure to perform a clean uninstall of the tool first. Then, install the new version and your new license. You shouldn’t see any errors under any circumstances. The PRS is extensively tested.
Renoise 3.5.x includes a new API (v6.2).
In this case, the Renoise API is a set of instructions that can be used to create compatible Lua tools. This doesn’t depend on the tool itself, but rather on the evolution of Renoise.
This brought significant changes, especially related to the GUI and the use of commands and the mouse implemented in the PRS. There are many changes and adaptations here and there. In this case, this allowed for a substantial improvement of PRS, representing a very radical change internally. Because of this, it’s also necessary to change your license to a new, compatible one. I’ll send you a PM with more details…
Thank you @Raul - full reinstallation helped. It was important to remove previous files.
I’m glad you were able to fix it! Enjoy!
