Nna For Multiple Samples

When i create a drum kit from multiple samples, I want to set the NNA to “continue” for all the drum hits. this can get a little tedious when i have 20-30 samples. is there a way to adjust the NNA for the WHOLE INSTRUMENT, and not just individual samples? this would be a great timesaver :D

Agreed, the same goes for volume. Its very tedious. A small “A” next to the buttons as in “Apply to all” would be very neat.

BUMP

when I’ve proposed the per-sample NNA, i also proposed something like a checkbox to set NNA for everything. I will ask taktik to take care of this in the next update, but can’t promise anything.

Anyway, in the future there are planned to have Instrument-properties as well as per sample properties.
But this will not happen for a while… so for now a rightclick context menu option to apply the different sample properties for all samples in instrument could be the way to do it? You don’t have to change anything in the GUI then at least.

but this would not necessarily be what you want: most of multisamples instruments have different base key for each sample.

maybe a dialog which shows upon NNA change and asks if the new NNA option should be set for all the samples would be better?

Sure, I was thinking of each parameter in the context menu. So you could only apply the NNA or only the Panning etc, for all the samples. But a dialog could do just as well.

Hopefully in the future we can make an selection of samples in the list or mapper and apply properties on the selection.

aww man, so it isnt currently implemented? not a bit problem, but im looking forward to future updates :D

I swear, i was racking my brain trying to find the “all sample NNA” option… i thought i was just stupid.

I’m looking forward too, good news from Pysj.

another possible way of solving: allowing multiselection in the sample box. upon multi selection, the sample properties which could not be set for all selected sample at once should be grayed out.

^^^^ that’s a great idea as well.
