No way to hide all FX columns with keys?

Every other column can be easily hidden with a keyboard shortcut, but it seems you need to use the mouse to get rid of the very last FX column (i.e. when there is only one). Maybe it would make sense for the “Decrease Number of Columns” shortcut to do this.

I could be missing something, as I vaguely remember some obscure key shortcut that hides all unused columns?

i have written a “hide all effect columns” script into Paketti

i guess i could make a flavor of it that just hides the empty ones.

the “Hide All Effect Columns” is pretty fun:

also i’ve done these:

which can be used to expose further note/effect columns or hide note/effect columns.
the bit that makes it useful is that it automatically selects the exposed column… or the previous column if hiding. so can hide effect columns down to 0 effect columns displayed, etc.

let me know if you’re looking for more. i’ve added “Hide unused Effect Columns” to my Paketti GitHub repo issues so will tackle it sooner rather than later. ( Hide Unused Effect Columns shortcut · Issue #866 · esaruoho/paketti · GitHub )

Cool, I’ve been curious about Paketti for a while and I guess I’ll have to give it a try now. Thanks!
