Do any of you know of a program that removes alle the silence in a wav-sample?
Assuming you’re using Windows, WaveKnife is quite handy.

It’s designed for sample CD tracks - converting a whole track with multiple samples separated by silence, to individual WAV files. But maybe it’ll also be useful for what you’re doing (you didn’t really give much of a description, heh).
Not sure if this would be very good for batch processing a lot of samples which already exist though.
Oops, I wrote “Noise-removal program”, it should’ve been Silence-removal program of course. ANd yeah, I’m using Windows.
YES!!! Brilliant! Thanks dblue!!!
winamp has the ability to remove at least the silence at the end and at the beginning.
