I think we should be able to only see opened VST effects of the track we’re at. Ableton has an option called “Auto-hide Plug-in Windows” that do this.
When we choose another track it hides the opened plugins from the previous track we were at and shows the plugins of the track we are at now. It also remembers plugin editor status (opened / closed).

As long as it is an option, i’m for it. there might be plausible reasons that plugin windows remain open when browsing other tracks (e.g. messing around with Hydra plugins on other tracks that controls a vsti control device for the currently opened plugin or the opened plugin itself).
