How did you managed to add a send device to the master track? That should not be possible and thus is the “real” bug here.
in the osx 10.8.5 its possible
How exactly do you do add a send device in this case: Copy/paste menus, shortcuts, loading a devicechain, drag and drop from browser, from favorites in context menu, or by using some Renoise tool?
just add from effect bin (drug and drop) or double clic

i try to another mac and don’t have this bug. I think its problem with script because so many in my Renoise version.
