I posted this inside another post, but I decided to give it its own thread.
It would be very cool (from a live point of view) to be able to mute and unmute tracks via MIDI remote controller, so that I can just press a button on my controller keyboard to bring a track in or out. This would help out a live performance no end.
It would also be cool if this was available for scrolling through patterns (maybe with a knob or slider), or just punching a button to go up 1 pattern, or down 1 pattern, or even straight to any particular pattern.
What would be even better is if you could control any and every button in renoise via midi remote mapping; but that’s probably not gonna happen…
what do people think???
