I experimented with Phatmatik lately and discovered the following :

  • I save a song with e.g. 4 different Phatmatik instances, in 4 different instruments.
  • I start Renoise again and load the song
  • Now only the first Phatmatik instance will play the loop, the rest of the Phatmatiks do not play anything, no sound at all, although it seems that the right loop is loaded in each of them

Anyone with a solution ?

have you tried to set up the phatmatik instances to different OUT channels internal in the PLUG?

I figured out what the problem was.
It doesn’t work with the evaluation version.
With the registered version, all instances load correctly.
Strange but true.

Does Phatmatik now work in Renoise like it’s supposed to?

Do you have the ability to drag the chopped break from phatmatic into a track?

Probably not, as this entails true midi import capabilities, which Renoise lacks.

I wish that it worked!
