I am using Sylenth 1 VST and I want to record moving the Pitchwheel down for a couple of notes but it seems to be the only knob I can’t automate (it is not listed on the Midi CC list)…
Am I doing something wrong or is this not possible?
pitchwheel is not a CC message, that’s why it is not in the list.
in order to automate the pitchbend, use the command C1 on the panning column:
quoting from http://tutorials.renoise.com/Renoise/EffectCommands:
C1 - Pitchbend, value in the effect-column (XXYY, XX global range, YY = finevalue)
- XX - 40 = center value, 40 - 7F = pitch-up, 40–01 = pitch down
- YY - 00 - 7F = finevalue range.

C-4 01 C1 7F00 <= set the pitch to the maximum value
If anyone, like me, finds this answer now and can’t make heads or tails of it, it’s probably because the pattern commands have changes. C1 is now M1.
