I’m seriously happy to see that sample-based instruments can now have attached DSP chains… but why wasn’t this implemented on plugin-based instruments as well? I would use the crap out of this feature.

The whole setup more or less is the blueprint for the Redux design (Renoise as VST plugin) which is aiming to be sample based only. There was a lot more all alpha testers would have liked, of which some including the devteam liked to add, but keeping you guys waiting for two years just didn’t sounded fair either.
