I have realized only today that the plugin grabbing option is disabled for aliases. Is there any specific reason for this? It really looks strange to me because the only thing I needed to make it work was to set the source instrument to the same MIDI channel of the alias I wanted to grab and then grab the source one. Couldn’t Renoise do this automatically if you are trying to grab an alias instrument?
Would be nice, yes, but the work-around is easy of course.
