Hi. It actually sometimes takes seconds to go to Disk Browser -> Samples, i.e. switching from Songs to Samples, Renoise(for me, at least) takes about 2-5-9 seconds to actually get through my folder structure and be able to display it. I was wondering if this could be read automatically during Renoise start, so that this workflow bottleneck would be evaded…?
Believe it or not, it used to be worse 
…but yeah, if you’ve got a substantial collection of samples on your harddisk, it can work counterproductive to have to wait every time you open a new folder. What I do now, is keeping a windows explorer screen on my other monitor open, search there and drag shit into Renoise.
I’d rather not have the process and RAM usage wasted by having these preloaded!
