I don’t know if is very hard to add a small barmetter/ indicator in the Line Input Device in order to see if the audio signal is present in a channel before any channel selection.
It is very useful when i have a lot of channels and want too see where is the signal of the current playing instrument.
Yeah, I love this feature of Ableton Live. Just needs to be 6 or 8 pixels of teeny VU-meter.
