Problem With Rendering To Wave

alright there?

i’ve been doing a collab with someone and as they aren’t renoise users, i’ve been rendering the song parts into small loops for them to use. however, the “selected sequence” option for rendering has abruptly stopped working properly: effectively, the left-mouse button has stopped working on the tool for selecting which patterns to render and so it won’t allow me to count out individual patterns - i can only render 1 pattern or some multiple of ten patterns… but not 2 or 3 or any other number which requires me to use the left-mouse button on the pattern selector.

it’s not a problem with the mouse as the left-button works fine for everything else except clicking on those arrows. the right button still works ok on them too.

has anyone else had this problem before? i haven’t gone as far as re-installing the program yet, but i’ve re-started it and it’s still not working.

i’m using v1.5.2.

thanks…

i doubt it’s a problem of the program if it suddenly stopped functioning where it worked before.
You might want to try and throw away your config.xml files (deinstalling Renoise does not take care these files get erased and reinstalling Renoise does not take care these files get overwritten!) in your c:\docsandsettings\username\appdata\renoise\v1.5.2 folder and try again.

ok, i’ll try that… thanks. ;)

ah… well it did seem to be working… but then it stopped again. doesn’t matter though cos i’ve found a work-around - highlighting the patterns on the pattern arranger list.

thanks again man… B)

This “workaround” is usually the way to go actually, but i never intensively tried rendering the patterns manual the other way.
