so i was getting some gear ready for a gig yesterday, syncing up files between laptops and the like when i suddenly noticed that there’s a new beta of renoise out (1.5a7). 
so of course i decided the best way for me to test it’s reliability was just to install it on both laptop systems and try it out live. I was a little nervous at the prospect of trying an alpha out for the first time while jacked into a larg soundsystem with impressionable minds milling about in various states of drunken euphoria, and i would really not have been justified in being mad at anyone if something went wrong but, it didn’t.
I was running the 1.5 a 7 build on two identical AMD laptops last night for about an hour of continuous play, loading, accessing network drives and hopping around patterns, even at around 70% cpu usage, they were totally solid.
