Quantization Of Live Input From Repeater Device

Couldn’t find this suggestion using the search function, so:

How about having control over when live input, clicking a cell in the repeater device for example, is played back over the speakers. Something a bit like how quantizing live recorded notes in the pattern editor works (enabling the ‘Q’ button and setting a value), but instead of hearing the sound immediately when triggering the event, only play it back at the set interval.

This way you can have a drum pad orgy without artifacts and always on beat :drummer: .

Would be great to have for keyboard playing as well imo.

i actually think getting the timing of the repeater just right is the fun of it. the other way 'round: when you want to save the output and use right click, sometimes repeater always starts triggering at another point in time??
