It might be me doing something wrong, but I think there’s a bug in renoise quantize algorithm.
I record something played from a midi-keyboard over several patterns with quantize turned off. If a note that should be on line 0 in a pattern other than the first pattern is a little rushed it’s placed in the pattern before with a delay higher than 80. If I run quantize (S-q for “quantize track”) in all patterns, the note is not moved to line 0 of the next pattern, but is stays on the last line in the pattern it was put in when recording.

If there’s a way to make renoise do this correctly, I’d be more than happy to learn! Otherwise I’d consider it a bug.
