First I have to say, the more I use this program, the more I find it incredible.
I came from Impulse Tracker to Logic and than Cubase (not from choice, I just won’t buy a mac no matter what), but this- I nearly forgot how inspired I was with IT and all those DAWs took away all my inspiration.
For my question, edit step, okay. Is there any way to apply the edit step not only to notes that I insert, also to cursor keys? For example, I enter a 16 row melody with two step intervals between notes. I press the first two notes, edit step takes me to row no. 4. there, if for example I want to continue the melody in row 6, I will have to press the down cursor twice. Is there any way to affect the down and up cursors aswell with the step commands?
If you go to the preferences in side Renoise, klik the “Keys” icon and then click the “Print” button… you get a list in your browser.
Click Pattern Editor and then click the navigation link and you will find this info there:
Move to Previous Row with EditStep Shift + Control + Up
Move to Next Row with EditStep Shift + Control + Down
Owhya, you can also print this list from there
Thank you so much.
How couldn’t I discover this program sooner.
