Questions about Renoise 1.2

I’m considering to register renoise because I like the program. But I was waiting for version 1.2 because I need some more functionality (especially the sampler).

I’m happy to hear that renoise 1.2 will load the loopingpoints from wavefiles. But there are still things that I can’t find ‘clearly’ on the W.I.P. page and in the topics from the last week.

  1. The limit of 16 multisamples in version 1.11. Taktik said a few months ago he would increase this. Is this happened in version 1.2?

  2. On the W.I.P. site stays that the newer version will support Madtracker2 songs/instruments. I already read somewhere in in the forum that IT support is added to version 1.2. But is Madtracker2 support also added?

  3. A few months ago there were some topics about the multitimbrality of vst instruments. Is this fixed in 1.2?

mt2 is not implemented yet. but it will be. a person know from the demoscene will do that as soon he can. this one has an low-prio coz there are already known ways how to convert mt tracks to ft2 and then import those in renoise.

If everything should be added to the next version it would never be released I guess… :) Renoise is still worth registering!

we do our best and as fast as possible, thats all I can say. maybe someone could clone me to increase the devspeed ?

but you can expect these fixes and removing limitations it is in todo. no need to delay registration for that.
