What do the buttons Razor / Shape / Fold / Shift mean in the distortion plugin? I did a quick google but couldn’t find anything (don’t seem to be abstract electronic musicoloy terms).
A good way to understand how they work is to look at the master scopes at the top of the window and observe the waveform as you change the drive and mode parameters.
I did a search but missed the wiki apparantly.

Razor is just a name for the distortion made up.
Shape is spawn from an old DSP device that was a very ugly compressor, later redubbed “shaper”
Fold, simply ‘folds’ the sound, bit like a ring modulator
Shift, yeh… shifts the harmonics.
