I’ve been debating buying Renoise for awhile, more so now that I have some nearly completed songs. One thing i’m doing is running my guitar to the line in and using a virtual amp with it. Sounds great but i’m having some latency problems. I’m currently using the default DirectSound device for recording. My question is if I purchase Renoise, will I be able to use ASIO4ALL and if so will that fix my latency problem? I just want to make sure before I spend my money. Thanks.
Yes. I also had latency problem with the default asio driver (probably because my soundcard doesn’t support it properly). I switched to asio4all and I can can play and record through line in without a hitch.
